Dark Souls III The Ringed City: How to Get the Loincloth

Loincloth – Dark Souls III The Ringed City

Recommended Videos

There are a lot of different armor items in Dark Souls III, but one of the oddest items you can get in The Ringed City is the Loincloth. While this piece of clothing won’t exactly offer any real protection, it’s certainly fun to wear in PvP if you want to embarrass some people during a duel. If you want this item, spawn at the second bonfire and make your way to the poison lake on the right side of the bridge to the wasteland-looking area. Make your way to the swamp, but take cover because one of those floating angels patrol the area.

Hang a left and hug the wall, as there are various alcoves you can take cover in from the energy beams this monster fires at you. Be careful, and make sure to carry some clumps of moss as the water and surrounding bugs are poisonous. Once you reach the very end, look to your right and you’ll see a gathering of around seven to eight purple bugs with an item in between them. Quickly run out, ignore the enemies, grab the Loincloth, and rush back. Fighting these little critters out in the open is a very easy way to get yourself killed, especially since the angel’s attacks can effectively stun lock you.

Congratulations, you can now taunt your foes in Dark Souls III’s version of tighty whities. For more walkthroughs, guides, and tips, make sure to check out our wiki for The Ringed City.
