Is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Coming To PC?

Recommended Videos

With just over a month until The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s release, players will be hotly anticipating getting their hands on it. While we already know that the game will be coming to Nintendo’s upcoming Switch console as well as the Wii U, some players may be hoping they’ll be able to jump into this new adventure on PC.

Unfortunately, as with all of Nintendo’s major IP, The Legend of Zelda will not be coming to PC. If you’re looking to get your hands on the game, you’ll have to pick up a Wii U, or the console/portable hybrid, the Switch. Even with PC Gamer calling The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild “the most PC Nintendo game ever,” due to the number of systems the game makes use of, it’ll stay exclusive to Nintendo’s hardware for now.

Whether or not this could change in the future remains to be seen, but Nintendo has never brought any of the previous Zelda titles to anything but their own hardware. Except for the CDi titles, but we’re better off just forgetting about those. Of course, if this changes, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release on Wii U and Nintendo Switch on March 3.
