Early on in The Division, you’ll be introduced to the Base of Operations. This is your central hub for all things that concern your Agent. In order to progress in the game, you’ll both want and need to upgrade this base. To do so you’ll need Supplies.
Supplies come in three colors: Blue, Yellow, and Green. Blue is for the Security Wing, Yellow for the Tech Wing, and Green for the Medical Wing. You’ll need quite a few, but don’t worry they’re easy to get.
You can get large quantities of Supplies by completing story missions. These each follow one of the three specific branches, so you’ll gather quite a few this way. The other method is to complete encounters. These are small, easy to complete missions, that reward a small amount of Supplies (usually around 60) among other rewards that you can put to use in your mission.
The Encounters are color coded, so if you’re looking for a specific type, just find the specific color activity. Be sure to keep a close eye on your map, and zoom out in order to have a good look at where all of these encounters are going on.
