The Moon-Gazing Gorons side quest is a mission you can take after clearing the Fire Temple and defeating the Marbled Gohma boss. You can start this side quest by speaking to two elder Gorons near Yunobo at the center of Goron City. To complete the Moon-Gazing Gorons side quest, you must go to Lake Ferona Cave at 1929, 1286, 0130. I suggest launching yourself from the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower and gliding east until you see Lake Ferona. On the lake’s northeast side, you will find a large cave entrance with a round hole above it.
According to Tray, he remembers seeing the full moon in the middle of the day. So, if you arrive in the morning or at night, you must build a campfire to pass the time. You can drop a bundle of firewood and one flint and strike them with a metal weapon to start a fire.
Once you’re at the right time, you’ll be able to see a “full moon” on the ground inside Lake Ferona Cave. The moon Tray and Volcon saw is actually sunlight coming from the round hole above the entrance.
