What They Require and Why You Should Complete Them
At the time of writing, the Daily Assignments seemed pretty straightforward. The Combat Assignment requires players to ‘Bring 3 elite enemies to justice,’ the Dark Zone Assignment requires you to ‘Bring 10 LMB soldiers in the Dark Zone to justice,’ and the Crafting Assignment simply required you to convert any weapon parts to a higher quality three times. Once you’ve completed an Assignment, you’ll be given your reward and will be notified on screen.
Weekly Assignments, on the other hand, require a bit more ground work. At the time of writing, players must do the following tasks to complete the assignment:
- Bring 50 Cleaners in the Dark Zone to justice.
- Deconstruct 30 Standard Items.
- Eliminate 40 Veteran Enemies
- Complete 10 main missions on hard or challenging difficulty.
As a reward for completing all of this, you’ll be rewarded with 30 Phoenix Credits. Not bad for just cleaning the streets, gathering materials, and grinding for better gear.
So why should you complete these assignments? Well, simply put, they’re not going to detract from your overall experience playing The Division. If you’re already going about completing missions, exploring the Dark Zone, and crafting for better gear then you’ll probably find that you’ll complete many assignments without even thinking about it. And if that’s the case, who doesn’t want free Phoenix Credits, Dark Zone Exp, and Division Tech?
