“F” might be for friends who do stuff together, but THQ Nordic has revealed two collector’s editions for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated you’ll want to keep for yourself.
What is F.U.N., you ask? It’s the deluxe version of Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, which includes Sandy, Patrick and SpongeBob figurines, wall stickers, lithographs, keyrings, SpongeBob’s socks (ew) and the game.
THQ Nordic is also offering a less expensive “Shiny” edition, which includes most of the same contents aside from the keyrings and figurines of Sandy and Patrick.
In both editions, the SpongeBob statue features the titular sponge wielding his Golden Spatula, the main collectible in Battle for Bikini Bottom. He also features a flexible tongue, which the trailer uncomfortably demonstrates.
The company released official trailers for the two editions this morning.
THQ Nordic’s official description of the editions are as follows:
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is getting not only one Shiny Collector’s Edition, but also an even shinier F.U.N. Edition. Both editions will be available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch when the game launches in 2020 and are ready for pre-orders now.
You can compare the exact differences between the two editions below, as the company has detailed the full contents of each edition.
The “Shiny” edition contains:
• An 8″/20cm SpongeBob Figurine with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue
• Wallstickers
• 6 Lithographs
• SpongeBob SquarePants tennis socks
• The game itself
The “F.U.N.” edition contains:

• The Sandy 8″/20cm Figurine
• Wallstickers

• SpongeBob SquarePants tennis socks
• The game itself
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a remaster of the 2003 3D platformer, set within the world of Nickelodeon’s popular animated show, SpongeBob Squarepants.
The game received mixed reviews from critics, but won over many kids’ hearts with its iconic cast and diverse challenges set in a creative and often crude world.
SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated launches on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2020. The “Shiny” edition will retail for $149.99, while the “F.U.N.” edition will retail for $299.99.
