Jack Baker
You know how the Resident Evil series just loves those enemies who don’t die? Resident Evil 7 gets in on the action with Jack Baker, the patriarch of the Baker clan. He’s an imposing figure who relies on brute strength rather than firearms to crush any opposition to him and his family. He can be found roaming around the Baker home at several points in the story, and is the target in three different boss encounters.
When he’s roaming the house, he’s not in “boss mode,” meaning you can’t kill him. He’s strong, but you can outrun him and hide until he returns to what he was doing (which is looking for you elsewhere). The best thing to do is lead him in the opposite direction you want to go, then run to your destination.
The three times you have to fight him are in the garage (here’s a handy guide), the basement (check out the guide), and you’ll go toe to toe with his mutated form which is easily the toughest boss in the game. Each fight is completely different making for an interesting undying enemy for the first two-thirds of the game.
