Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for One Piece: World Seeker, detailing the title’s story and gameplay.

Streamed via the developer’s official YouTube channel, the trailer begins with a voice over from an unknown female character detailing the history of the game’s setting; an island devastated by war and currently occupied by the World Government’s navy, host to small village hamlets and sprawling metropolises alike. Near the end of her narration, she hints that a chance encounter, most likely with the Straw Hat Pirates, could change everything.

The trailer then moves into gameplay from the upcoming title. As series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, players can traverse the environment using his Gum Gum abilities, floating or swinging through towns and cities with ease. The game also offers a variety of options in combat, from ranged punches and melee attacks to aerial bombardments via a rain of enlarged, Haki-imbued fists.

Though the game still hasn’t received a firm release date, World Seeker is currently projected for release in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The full trailer can be viewed down below.
