The documentary will detail the risks and successes of the God of War team during the five-year development journey, following the big changes made to the God of War franchise in the latest installment and celebrating the success of the game.

As well as a focus on the game itself, viewers will likely see plenty of the game’s director, Cory Barlog, as he showcases a behind-the-scenes look at how God of War was created and why, as well as the obstacles in achieving his final vision.

The documentary also features Kratos actor Christopher Judge, and other members of the development team and cast are said to make appearances as well.

Raising Kratos releases this Friday, May 10th at 12:01AM Pacific time on the PlayStation YouTube channel.

You can view the announcement trailer on the PlayStation YouTube channel, which is also where you can view the documentary upon release this Friday.
