How to Get Chroma
OK, so now you may be asking, how do you get Chroma? Since it’s a new material being added in Destiny’s upcoming April Update, it’s going to be obtainable via new activities releasing in said update.
The first way is through Sterling Treasure Mystery Bags. An elaborate name for an elaborate item. Sterling Treasure Mystery Bags are exactly what they sound like, a bag full of loot that when used, grants you a few items at random. One of the items you could get from Sterling Treasure which can possibly drop one of the four colors for you. That’s not the only way to get Chroma though. It can also be obtained from dismantling any pieces of the two new armor sets dropping in Destiny’s April Update. Dismantling SPEKTAR armor will give you a random colored piece while DESOLATE will grant you a single white piece.
