How to Expand in They Are Billions on PC

They Are Billions is all about building the greatest colony, progressing the last humans, and surviving against the onslaught of zombies. As such, you’re going to want to take up more and more space if you’re going to increase your population. Here’s how you can expand your colony some.

First and foremost, it’s important to note that you can only build things as far as your colony’s energy can reach. Whenever you’re trying to build something, you should see some orange squares taking up a set amount of space. That’s your build-able area.

In order to expand this, you’re going to want to expand your energy. This can be done by pressing the icon titled Energy that has a radio looking tower on it. Once you do, the Tesla Tower is what you’ll want to build. Notice that it increases the amount of orange squares. It’s a smart idea to build this on the edges to maximize how much more space you’ll have.

Also, do keep in mind that you’ll eventually run out of energy if you’re building a lot of stuff. As such, make sure to build a Mill to produce some more. This can be found within the same Energy menu as the Tesla Tower.
