Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands, a brand new survival-adventure game from German-makers, Lemonbomb Entertainment, will be launching worldwide in October 2019. It’s the second major title that the company has produced, other than Nova Nukers, and shares similar traits to the Harvest Moon/Animal Crossing games and The Legend of Zelda.
The information was shared via PlayStation’s official Twitter account and a follow-up post has revealed a lot of information about this new title.
Farming, cooking and exploring are just a few of the activities you’ll be able to partake in, with the game aiming to seamlessly blend them together and freshen the concept up. The team behind the game want you to explore the archipelago to find necessary resources to aid your crew in their survival.
You’ll need to build ‘survivor camps’ for each crew member, and in addition to this, you’ll also need to: farm crops for food, see what exotic life you can find to cook by fishing, and of course, the cooking itself.
Similarly to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s food system, the types of food you combine together – and the amount you use – will greatly affect the end result. This way, the game encourages you to experiment with different food combinations and see if you can earn your chef stripes by cooking the ultimate feast!
You’ll be able to travel by foot or by boat in order to explore the different islands and find untold treasures, useful tools and dangerous enemies that want your skull and bones.
Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands is scheduled for a worldwide release sometime in October with more information to be expected between now and then.
