Warzone 2’s Revive Pistol Is a Siege Copy, But It’s Fun as Hell

Warzone 2.0 is here, and it boasts a very familiar gadget for you to use.

Warzone 2.0 is finally here, and gamers worldwide are hot dropping into Al-Mazrah in search of those elusive victory royales. Alongside the launch of Warzone, the newest Season 1 update has brought a ton of features to Call of Duty as a whole, and players have discovered one unique element that hasn’t been in a CoD game to date.

Brand new to the battle royale, Warzone 2.0 has introduced a new form of self-revive mechanic to the battle royale in the form of a discoverable Field Upgrade. The new Revive Pistol allows you to pick up yourself or your teammates with a four-shot pistol. As the name implies, it allows you to pick up teammates from a distance by shooting it, or you can revive yourself by burning all four charges.

Fans were quick to point out some eerie similarities between the new pistol and weapons seen in other FPS titles. The most prominent example is Doc from Rainbow Six Siege, as the weapon almost looks exactly like the good doctor’s ability and serves an identical purpose. Many other fans were quick to meme the pistol, or rather, the player who encounters the pistol and messes up the chance to revive their teammate by missing all of the revive shots.

Needless to say, the Revive Pistol will most certainly create some memorable moments as players line up to dominate Al-Mazrah. Be sure to check out the new map before you drop in, and stick with us, as we’ll be bringing you plenty of content to help you navigate the daunting arena.

I love almost every type of video game, and when I'm not playing them, I'm writing about them... a lot. I have too many favorites to list so feel free to ask about them! Long live Ugly Sonic and the Resident Evil 3 Remake (this is a meme btw).
