Thunder Lotus, the developers of the upcoming indie game, Spiritfarer, has announced that the title will be coming to the Epic Games Store and Google Stadia in addition to the previously announced releases on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, PC, PS4, Switch, Steam, and GOG.
The team also released a new gameplay trailer that shows off never-before-seen characters and environments.

Here’s a description of the game via its Steam page:
Spiritfarer is a cozy management game about dying. You play Stella, ferrymaster to the deceased, a Spiritfarer. Build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife. Farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook, and craft your way across mystical seas. Join the adventure as Daffodil the cat, in two-player cooperative play. Spend relaxing quality time with your spirit passengers, create lasting memories, and, ultimately, learn how to say goodbye to your cherished friends. What will you leave behind?
I had some hands-on time with Spiritfarer at PAX East earlier this year, and it’s honestly a very charming, endearing, and somewhat melancholic experience.
You get to gather materials for potential spirit passengers to come on board your ship and a lot of the stories that they have to tell are very sad, but it’s a cathartic experience that I wanted more of.
I even compared it to how playing Animal Crossing makes me feel: “You can fish, mine, harvest, and craft while you unwind on your ship and search the world for new spirits to join your escapade. Its themes can be heavy, but Spiritfarer totally gave me similar vibes to games like Animal Crossing.”
You can cherck out Spiritfarer when it launches later this year.
