NieR Re[in]carnation Gets Western Release Date from Square Enix; Has 400,000 Pre-Registrations So Far

Today Square Enix reached out with a press release to announce the western release date of the new NieR mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation.

The game will be launching in North America and Europe on July 28 for iOS and Android and pre-registrations are available through the AppStore and Google Play right now.

They’ve actually been open for a while and previous goals have been met, so additional ones have been announced, as you can see in the image below. 400,000 pre-registrations have already been achieved.

NieR Re[in]carnation has already been available in Japan for a few months, and it achieved 10 million downloads in the country in just a few days.

If you’re unfamiliar with NieR: Re[in]carnation, here’s an official description.

“Bringing together an all-star team including creative director Yoko Taro, composer Keiichi Okabe from Monaca and producer Yosuke Saito, the Action Command RPG NieR Re[in]carnation tells the story of a girl who awakens in a mysterious place known as The Cage. Guided by a creature who calls herself Mama, the girl sets off on a journey through The Cage to reclaim what she has lost and to atone for her sins.”

The Japanese release of the game already received several collaborations with Yoko Taro’s previous games, including NieR: AutomataNieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, and Drakengard 3.
