It’s official – My Hero Academia: Two Heroes has just smashed yet another record. The anime film has just taken the #10 spot in the top 10 highest-earning anime films that have been released in North America.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes has just finished airing in North America, spanning across a whopping 556 theatres. The anime filmed managed to earn a total of $5,754,556, which honestly says plenty about the show’s rampant popularity. Similarly, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes also became Funimation’s third highest-grossing film to hit the theaters.
Over its complete run in North America, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes earned a final total of $5,754,556 across 556 theaters! It is now #10 in the top 10 highest-earning anime films released in North America.

My Hero Academia has managed to take the anime scene by storm, telling stories about a world where humans develop supernatural abilities known as Quirks. With villains on the rise, we see the story of budding heroes – particularly centering around an aspiring student named Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and the world’s #1 hero, All Might.
My Hero Academia: Two Heroes centers around Deku and All Might traveling to meet the latter’s former sidekick and best friend, David Shield. During their visit, however, a group of terrorists invade the area and hold everyone hostage. With Deku and his friends on the loose, it’s up to the group to save everyone and put a stop to the villains.
Apart from the film, My Hero Academia is also gearing up for its fourth season next year. While we don’t have an official release date yet, it’s slated to release around spring of 2019.
