Today, they finally reached their goal. The developer asked for a fairly approachable 5,000,000 yen, which translates roughly into $46,385. At the moment of this writing, the project is at 5,191,622 yen. There are still three days to spare, so it was close, but not too close for comfort.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, the title is quite descriptive. It’s a virtual reality game for Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, PlayStation VR, and SteamVR, featuring the beloved characters from Studio Trigger’s anime series Little Witch Academia. The concept is racing on your flying brooms.

“<The player will become a potential student at Luna Nova!>

You can freely create your own avatar and enter Luna Nova as a potential student!

<Tag team with another character!>

You can team up with an LWA character and try the Bonding Race!

Also, depending on your partner, the magic and items will change!

<A multiplayer mode where you can challenge your friends!>

There will be a multiplayer mode where you can race with other player’s team!”

If you’re interested, you can also check out the original teaser trailer.

If you want to contribute, you still can for the next three days at the project’s Kickstarter campaign page.
