Latest Destiny 2: Beyond Light Trailer Teases Variks, Vehicles, Powerful Vex Enemies & More

There’s a lot going on in the latest trailer for Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The next expansion pack might be still over a month away, but Bungie decided to leave fans with a nice cut of detail steak today.

First off our ol’ pal Variks kicks off the trailer, ominously hinting that things might be coming to a head in Europa. It’s still unknown at this point whether Variks will be a friend or a foe in Beyond Light.

There are many mysteries in Europa as Variks says, and there are a lot of big time players converging here looking for answers.

One such player is The Exo Stranger. She has always seemed to be motivated to defeat the Darkness, but her methods are still mostly an unknown to us as well. As stated in the trailer, she’s very much interested in the history of Europa and unlocking its secrets.

While The Exo Stranger might be an ally, unlike us she is not a Guardian. Expect her to have less reservations about embracing the power of Stasis.

The Fallen are of course a part of the trailer. We have known for a while now that Fallen were going to be one of our main rivals in Europa. Abandoned by the Light, the Fallen united under Eramis are now seeking to gain power from the Darkness now instead.

However, the Vex actually are quite prominent in this trailer as well. We see lots of powerful-looking Vex including something that resembles one of the raid bosses from Garden of Salvation, The Consecrated Mind. The trailer also ends with a shot of a massive Vex Gate. Could this be a hint towards the Vault of Glass? Or is it something else? That’s unknown to us right now.

In any event, definitely give the trailer yourself a watch as it’s quite jam-packed. You’ll get a closer look at some new weapons, armor, abilities and also what appears to be a new vehicle as well!

Destiny 2: Beyond Light will release on Nov. 10.
