Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa

Today PQube revealed a brand new trailer of the upcoming visual novel Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa.

The video introduces the main cast of the game, including Nanami Kagura, Honoka Ichinose, Yukino Tsubaki, Shuji Toyama, Wakaba Asagiri, Satsuki Kujo, Chinatsu Hachisuka, and Mikoto Sasaki.

We also get to see some of the title’s puzzle gameplay, which involves color-matching mechanic in order to dig through their lies and secrets.

One of the elements that make this game peculiar is that Pqube itself has been working on the game in collaboration with Tokyo-based Japanese studio Art, known for having worked mostly with Furyu on games like Unchained Blades and some of the Doraemon 3DS titles. That being said, the London-based publisher promises that this is going to be an unmistakably Japanese game.

You can check out the trailer below.  You can also check out a few screenshots (alongside with the promise that the game won’t be censored)

If you want to learn more, you can also enjoy our interview with PQube marketing manager Geraint Evans, and the previous trailer showcasing the puzzle gameplay.

Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of the Fujisawa will launch on May 31 in Europe and on June 4 in North America for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
