Today Bandai Namco announced a new game of the Gundam Breaker series, but this time around, it isn’t coming to consoles. It’s Gundam Breaker Mobile.
If the title isn’t enough of an indication, the title is coming to iOS and Android. It has been announced for Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
Pre-registrations are already open and the game promises to let you customize your mecha in pure Gundam Breaker fashion including parts, colors, and more. Yet, this time you can do it anywhere you like on your smartphone.
Of course, customization isn’t the only feature (even if it’s likely the favorite for the fans of the series) as there are plenty of battles to be fought and even a full-fledged story mode to enjoy. It’ll feature a completely original story.
Of course, the game is free-to-play with optional purchases, which obviously means that gacha is involved. The release is scheduled for Summer 2019.
Together with the announcement, Bandai Namco also released the opening animation and the first trailer showing off plenty of gameplay for your perusal. The opening cutscene is quite fetching if you like Gundam anime.
You can check them out below, and see if the game tickles your fancy.
