During a livestream broadcasted to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the mobile game on January 22, Colopl showcased the key visual for the game, which will come at some point in 2022.

While platforms have not been explicitly announced, it’s confirmed to come for consoles. It will be developed by Mages’ 5pb arm. A teaser site has also been opened.

The final title has also been announced and for now it’s simply referred to as “Alice Gear Aegis Console Version” which of course is just a working title.

If you’re not familiar with Alice Gear Aegis, it’s a popular mobile game released in 2017 with a PC version launched in 2019. It features a team of girls fighting against a mechanical life form called “Weiss.”

An anime TV series has also been announced, and it also got a trailer which you can watch below. It will be animated by Nomad, which already worked on an OVA released in September last year.

For reference, you can also take a look at a new trailer of the mobile game, which introduced new characters.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
