When Does Demon Lord Retry Season 2 Come Out Answered

Fans excited about more isekai meets fantasy anime goodness in the form of Demon Lord, Retry! have been patiently waiting since September 2019 for more news about the show. After its initial 12-episode run, there are still several loose ends to tie up, and at the very least, a war that was teased in the finale. Naturally, that has left many viewers anticipating a new season of action, and if you are one of those wondering about when does Demon Lord, Retry! season 2 come out; read on.

Demon Lord Retry Season 2 Release Date

Produced by animation studio Ekachi Epika, there has been no official confirmation of a second season for Demon Lord, Retry! just yet. Although the final episode did state that the story will be continued, that is not exactly the ironclad proof we need.

With the light novel series written by Kurone Kanzaki still ongoing, the material for adaptation is still there for the studio, with only two of eight volumes being used so far. The lack of news is most likely down to the effects of the pandemic affecting production, with profitability a key concern for the industry as a whole. It remains to be seen if Demon Lord, Retry! will get a second season in such circumstances.
