Watch Dogs 2 – Playing Co-op

Recommended Videos

Watch Dogs 2 features a seamless co-op mode where you can take on missions and explore San Francisco with a friend. You can either get matchmade with another player, or join in on the fun with someone on your friends list. Before you can access the multiplayer portion of the game, you need to beat the introductory mission of the game first, and gain access to the phone and the Hackerspace.

Now, bring up your phone menu, and look for the Multiplayer app in the corner of the screen. From here, choose the co-op option and you can choose to either start the matchmaking process, or play with someone on your friends list. If you want to play with a friend, select their username to either join their game, or send them an invitation to have them join your session instead. Once they’ve loaded in, you’ll be able to roam the city together, go shopping, take photos, and tackle short co-op missions for extra cash and followers. Pro-tip: you can even get on the San Francisco trolleys. Just try not to cause too much trouble.
