You won’t last long in The Stillness of the Wind without hay to feed to your goats, so we’re here to walk you through how to get hay fast and easy.
How to Get Hay in The Stillness of the Wind
A material used to feed Talma’s goats, hay is indispensable for those who want to make it through the game. Not only will your goats perish or run away without being fed with it, but their disappearance will in turn hobble Talma’s ability to make food goods.
That’s why should you start to run low on it, you’d be right to be frustrated or worried about not knowing how to get more. Fortunately, it’s fairly simple and straight forward to procure more.
Trading With the Traveling Merchant
Whenever you run low on hay, you can trade with the traveling merchant to buy more. He visits the farm fairly regularly, so you shouldn’t have to wait long for him even if you run out.
Getting hay from him isn’t quite as simple as handing him some money though. Instead, you’ll have to trade some of your items with him in exchange for a bale or two.
What he wants varies from time to time, so pay attention to what he says he wants or is in the mood for.
If he wants cheese, trading him some of your goat cheese will net you the most hay. If he wants milk, trade him what you have for as much hay as he’s carrying.
Keep these factors in mind, and you’ll have no problem getting hay for the duration of your time with the game.
