How to Loot Enemies in Sekiro
Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a brutal action game from the makers of Dark Souls, and although it shares some similarities, there are some key differences. The game still uses a very methodical combat system, and most of the enemies you beat will drop valuable items or money for you to use. So, here’s how to loot enemies in Sekiro.
Nearly every enemy you kill in Sekiro will drop either items or money, known as Sen. Of course, if you want all of this stuff you’ll need to loot it from your dead foes.
In order to loot enemies, all you need to do is hold down the square on PS4 (or X on Xbox One) button. This will basically create a vacuum on your character that sucks in any and all items and money in a wide area, bringing them right to you.
This makes it incredibly easy to loot enemies quickly, and you’re usually best off finishing all enemies in an area and focusing on combat, then looting everything at the end before you move on.
Every common enemy that you kill in Sekiro will reward you with Sen, but keep in mind that, if you die, the amount of money you have will be cut completely in half.
Because of this, it’s always a good idea to find an area or two that you can easily clear of enemies, just in case you need a grinding spot to wrack up Sen and Skill Points.
You can make enemies respawn by going to the Sculptor’s Idol and selecting rest, and there’s no limit to the amount of experience and Sen you can get.
That’s everything you need to know about how to loot enemies in Sekiro. For even more tips, tricks, and info on the game, make sure to search Twinfinite, and take a look at our extensive Sekiro Shadows Die Twice guide wiki.
