Rage 2 is Bethesda’s newest open world post-apocalyptic first-person shooter that is developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios. There are tons of places to explore in this savage world and a lot of activities to partake in, and you can also take photos in-game that show off the neon-colored environments. Here’s everything you need to know about how to use the photo mode in Rage 2.
How to Use Photo Mode in Rage 2
To start things off, Rage 2 doesn’t really have a fully functional in-game “photo mode” like other games such as Days Gone or Spider-Man, but you can still mess around with some features that allow you to create some fun photos that you can share with your friends over Twitter or whatever.
You can use the photo mode by pressing the pause button and scrolling down to the Photo Mode option on the menu that appears. Like I mentioned previously, you can’t move the in-game camera around like a true photographer, but Rage 2 let you take pics with by way of the share button –just like other games.
The only difference here is that you can do little things to make the picture pop, such as being able to hide the user interface with the square button/X button, change the time of day, and add filters.
You can remove the UI with a press of the square/X button, and go through the multitude of options on the menu that lets you set the time of day, color tints, blur intensity, and much more. You can scroll through the pages of options by just pressing R1/RB and L1/LB.
And that is everything you need to know about how to use the photo mode in Rage 2.
