Look, we get it. As cool as the mechanics and gameplay of People Can Fly’s new looter shooter are, you’ve hit the point where you just want to breeze through the game feeling like an all-powerful badass – regardless of whether you reached that point fairly or not. As such, you’re wondering: Are there cheats in Outriders?
Well, for better or worse, we have the answer you’re looking for. Read on to find out whether or not there are some codes or exploits you should know about that can enhance your gaming experience.
Are There Cheats in Outriders? Answered
As it currently stands, there are no official cheats you can use in Outriders.
This means that while it is possible to give your characters enhanced stats and buffs by hacking the game, these actions aren’t officially supported by the game’s developer People Can Fly.
Not only that, but PCF will actively punish you if they catch you cheating. Your account’s user name will be tagged with a watermark that will be visible to anyone you play with, and you may face other punishments from the developer depending on the severity of your cheating.
To top it all off, you won’t be able to switch to a new character to avoid your punishment. The aforementioned watermark will be tied to the account you use in the game, and will be applied no matter which of your characters you try to play as.
It’s a little intense, but shouldn’t come as a surprise if you’ve kept up with developers’ approaches to cheating in online multiplayer games. Many have become much more strict about punishing cheaters and making sure cheats aren’t allowed, in order to ensure all players are on a level playing field.
