How to Create a Stadium in MLB The Show 21

Creating a stadium in MLB The Show 21 takes a bit of patience if you want to go all out and really make it your own. If you just want to mess around a little though, there’s an option for that too that will get you in your very own stadium in a few minutes. Let’s go over them.

Easy Mode

Easy mode allows you to take a preset stadium, tweak a few things to make it feel more like yours, and then get it off and running without doing anything that would make the stadium unusable.

Open Create a Stadium in the top right corner of the main menu via Create. You’ll be able to select a preset stadium, which is recommended if you’re not planning on using Pro mode (see below). When you enter the first option on the bottom bar will be Edit Mode which should then be set to Easy if it isn’t already. From there, simply go through all the other options Stadium Properties, Scenery, etc., and set everything to your liking.

Easy mode, is well, easy. There’s really not too much to it. You just go through the options, pick everything that you like, and in just a couple of minutes, you’ll have a created stadium that you can use.

Just remember you can always press TouchPad on PlayStation or View on Xbox to return to the Create a Stadium edit bar in case you get stuck.

Pro Mode

Pro mode is if you really want to take create a stadium in MLB The Show 21 seriously, build everything from scratch, and make something truly unique.

Once again enter Create a Stadium and pick a stadium to start with. You can still edit out a preset stadium, but consider picking the Blank Canvas if you want a completely empty park to work with.

Most of the steps (see below) are the same whether you’re in Easy mode or Pro. Simply pick out what you like and name your park, etc. However, what is different this time in Pro mode is that you’re able to do things such as edit the wall height and add props, seating.

While in the Outfield Wall section select the Customize option and use the d-pad to select a panel you want to customize. From there you can still do things like changing the material, but you should notice that options such as Wall Height that were previously greyed out, are now active. Use this to change the height of each panel to your liking.

In the Props section, it’s the same deal. Add Prop is now selectable and you can browse through all of the props, set them where you want, and customize them to your liking. Just keep in mind, while you do have a lot of freedom, you can’t just add seating in the middle of the field or anything like that. Your stadium won’t be usable in that case.

Whether you’re using Easy or Pro mode, when you’re done go to Save/Options to save your stadium and, if it’s playable, make it available for use.
