How to Save in Madden 22

As is the case with almost all of EA’s sports games, Madden 22 does a lot of auto-saving. This is particularly true in modes like MUT, where the game will frequently auto-save and record all of your progress on the EA servers. In other words, you don’t have to worry about manually saving in Ultimate Team.

In Franchise, you can manually save your game by pressing the View button on Xbox (left of the big Xbox button), or by pressing the touchpad on PlayStation. Simply select the save slot you’d like to record your progress in, name it, and the game will manually save your progress from Madden 22’s Franchise mode.

As we mentioned with MUT, though, Madden 22 will frequently auto-save regardless of what mode you’re playing, so you shouldn’t have to worry about saving. Though we’d always recommend doing a manual save when you’re planning on turning off the game for a little while, just to be sure. You wouldn’t want to lose a chunk of progress because you’ve misjudged the auto-save after all, would you?

That’s everything you need to know on how to save in Madden 22. It’s pretty much the same as it always has been, so you shouldn’t have too many problems figuring it out when you’re in and playing the game.
