Is Ace Combat 7 Coming to PC?
Ace Combat 7 is the latest in the long running action game taking place exclusively in the skies, Top Gun style. If you’re here, you’re likely wondering whether Ace Combat 7 is coming to PC. Let’s get into it.
The game takes place in an alternate version of the present day. Your character is falsely excused of a crime, and is sent to work for a military unit designed for convicts.
Imagine Suicide Squad, but in a plane, and without this Joker following you around, thankfully.
While your character is kind of screwed to start the game, luckily PC fans aren’t. Ace Combat 7 is indeed coming to PC. However, there is a small catch.
The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will come out Jan. 18. There are a few specific PlayStation VR compatible missions as well that will remain exclusive to that VR platform a limited time.
The PC version will be out on Feb. 1, two weeks later. We’re not sure at this time the exact plan for the VR missions availability on other platforms like Oculus Rift or Vive, but presumably they will be playable after the exclusivity on PSVR ends.
That does it for whether Ace Combat 7 is coming to PC. We’re happy that in this case we have good news, even if you do need to wait a little bit for it. It’s better than it not coming out at all, that’s for sure. In the grand scheme of things, two weeks isn’t too bad. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more Ace Combat-related info.
TLDR;
Question: Is Ace Combat 7 coming to PC?
Answer: Yes, but it’s coming out two weeks later than the PS4 and Xbox One versions. It will be out for PCs on Feb 1. The VR missions won’t be available on PC for at least a year.
