The Resource Analyzer is something you’ll come across within the first five minutes of Grounded. It’s a machine you’ll use to, well, analyze resources, as the name suggests. Analyzing resources grants you Raw Science which can be used to unlock more crafting recipes. It also unlocks crafting recipes directly related to the item you’re analyzing. The problem is, it only has a three charges. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to get more resource analyzer chargers in Grounded.
Getting Resource Analyzer Charges in Grounded
The good news is that you won’t actually have to do anything in Grounded to get more charges for your Resource Analyzer.
That’s because when you’ve used all three charges, you’ll see a timer appear inside the battery. This indicates how long you need to wait before you’ll get another charge.
The reason it’s just a case of waiting for your analyzer to recharge is because it’s solar-powered, according to the text running alongside the battery. Kinda makes sense given we’re outside in the blazing sunshine all day.
From our time with the game so far, we haven’t found a way to increase the maximum amount of Resource Analyzer charges you can have in Grounded, or a way to speed up the process of recharging the ‘battery.’
That being said, Grounded is in early access at the time of writing and so the method of charging your resource analyzer may change. Obsidian may also add in new features related to the analyzer in future updates, but for now it’s a case of waiting and seeing.
That’s all you need to know on getting more resource analyzer chargers in Grounded. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to check out more of our coverage below.
