Update: EA has acknowledged the FIFA 18 servers issue and is currently investigating the cause.

FIFA 18 is one of those games that fans just keep coming back to. Whether it’s playing others in the online Seasons mods, or spending countless hours building your Ultimate Team, there’s something for every soccer fan. Of course, with so many online features, FIFA 18 players can face problems when the servers go down. As such, many players are wondering if the servers are down right now.

Well, it turns out that yes, the servers are down at the time of writing. The EA Sports FIFA Twitter account has yet to tweet out and let players know about the issue, but in our own personal experience, we can’t seem to connect to the servers. When trying to sign in, we’re greeted with the following message: “The EA servers are not available at this time. Please try again later.”

It’s not just us that are finding the servers are down though. According to downdetector, a ton of reports have been filed about EA and FIFA 18 servers being down. Here’s hoping they’ll be resolved soon.

Currently, we don’t know when the FIFA 18 servers will return to usual service. We’ll be sure to update this post as and when we see any update on the issue from EA Sports.
