FFXIV Endwalker: All Secret in the Box Riddle Solutions

Endwalker is the fourth and latest expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, and it wraps up the story arc surrounding Eorzea’s conflict with Garlemald. Players will get to travel to new areas like Old Sharlayan and Radz-at-Han, and take on a bunch of new dungeons and trials along the way. Here’s how to solve the Secret in the Box riddles in FFXIV Endwalker.

FFXIV Endwalker Secret in the Box Riddle Solutions

Aside from the MSQ, there are tons of new side quests to take on as well. Most are just filler quests that give you experience points, but there are a few that are worth doing for the special rewards. One of these quests is called Secret in the Box, which is a level 88 quest that’s only unlocked after you’ve completed the MSQ titled Outside Help.

Once you’ve done this, head to Old Sharlayan and speak with the Mysterious Maiden NPC located at X:10.6, Y:11.1. Follow the objective markers, and you’ll then be tasked with interacting with three different NPCs. In order to progress and complete the quest, you’ll need to solve the riddle and interact with them in a specific way, which we’ve listed below:

• Riddle 1 (X:8, Y:14): Interact with the Sleepy Student with /doze
• Riddle 2 (X:9, Y:7): Interact with Nutkin by using the /say command and typing “Golden acorn”
• Riddle 3 (X:12, Y:9): Interact with Izumi simply by talking to them normally

Once you’ve solved all three riddles, you’ll be able to complete the quest and get the Chondite Ring Coffer as a reward. Depending on which job you’re using when you’re opening the Coffer, you’ll be rewarded with a level 88 and item level 545 ring that suits that particular job.
