Devil May Cry 5 offers its fair share of challenges, but those looking for a unique spin on the usual gameplay will want to know how to find Secret Missions sooner rather than later. Here’s how to find secret missions in Devil May Cry 5.

A mainstay of the series, these missions can be found scattered throughout the stages of Devil May 5. Each pose specific challenges to players ranging from one of a kind combat scenarios to puzzles and platforming challenges.

Not only that, but successfully beating a secret mission rewards players with a Blue Orb Shard, bringing them one step closer to increasing their overall health.

That said, they’re typically hidden in plain sight, and unless you know what to look for you’ll probably walk right by them.

How to Trigger Secret Missions

To find Secret Missions in Devil May Cry 5, players will want to keep their eyes out for red pentagrams on the floors, ceilings and walls of areas during main missions.

Once they have the pentagram successfully centered in their line of vision, an option to trigger the mission will appear on screen.

At the same time though, they’ll also want to keep their eyes out for red lights on the ground. This is meant to show that there is a fractured pentagram in the area that can only be seen from a specific angle or perspective.

To find and trigger these, players need to stand on the red light and adjust their camera until the reconstructed pentagram comes into view. Once it does, they can trigger it just as they would a normal Secret Mission.

Hopefully, this helps you to track down and figure out how to find secret missions in Devil May Cry 5. For more on the game, check out our Devil May Cry 5 guide wiki for more tips, tricks and advice on how to find all of the title’s secrets.
