What Happens If You Don’t Move As Kara in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

Close to the beginning of Detroit Become Human – when things start to ramp up – Kara will be ordered to not move by the abusive father of the family she’s assigned to. Most players will opt to ignore him and break the programming to move, but what happens when you just don’t? Here’s exactly the answer to that question.

When you move during this scene in Detroit Become Human, you’ll be disobeying an order and both metaphorically and physically (because the player sees it happen in a cool sequence) destroying your programming to become a deviant. When you listen like a good little android, though, during this Detroit Become Human scene, you’ll be waiting around, listening to some horrific stuff.

It takes a while, but you’ll hear the father do some drugs, take off his belt, and go after Alice. Eventually and inevitably, a cutscene will trigger where Kara goes upstairs finally only to find that Alice has been killed. And, of course, Kara is blamed and the last action before the scene goes dark is the father charging at her. The assumption being that she was dismantled once again.
