Destiny 2 is about to go all festive with the latest public event, the Dawning. The event will overhaul Destiny 2 with a wintry theme, redecorating the social spaces with snow and Christmas-themed lights. The Dawning also adds a crucible event, gift consumables, and various rewards for Guardians up to the challenge.

Just as in last year’s Dawning, there’s a chance to score some seasonal gear, such as special legendary armor sets, as well as some Exotic Dawning gear. In order to attain these unique rewards, players will need Dawning Engrams. Upon starting the event, each player will receive one Engram from Tess Everis when you go to the Eververse for the first time. After that, you can then purchase them from her for the following prices.

• 1 Dawning Engram = 200 Silver
• 3 Dawning Engrams = 500 Silver
• 5 Dawning Engrams = 800 Silver

You can also get Dawning Engrams by completing weekly milestones in Crucible Mayhem matches or Strikes. Called a Milestone of Winter, each week brings a new objective to be completed and rewards with a Dawning Engram. When you decrypt a Dawning Engram, you have a chance to receive a piece of Dawning Armor or other sweet Dawning gear.
