CrossCode: How to Heal & Restore Health

CrossCode is a beautiful retro-inspired action RPG with a pixel art style, and it’s finally releasing for the Nintendo Switch this month. Players will get to explore a large MMORPG-style world called CrossWorlds, battle their way through a variety of combat encounters, and solve puzzles in mini-dungeons. And, of course, you’re bound to lose some HP along the way. Here’s how to heal and restore health in CrossCode.

Heal and Restore Health in CrossCode

In CrossCode, it takes a little while before you gain access to some basic features like healing up. Once you’ve completed the tutorial levels of the game and you reach CrossWorlds for the first time, you’ll be thrown into your first dungeon.

After solving the puzzles there and getting your first equipment pieces, you’ll gain access to the quick menu and character menu, and you’ll finally have the ability to restore health. Press the – button to bring up your menu, and choose Inventory, then heal up with a healing item.

Alternatively, press ZL to bring up the quick menu, press up on the d-pad to select your items, then choose a healing item from there. This allows you to quickly restore your health in the middle of battle without having to go through the character menu.

As you’re fighting enemies and bosses, you can also regain health from them. Defeated enemies will sometimes release green orbs that heal you up, and depleting one bar of a boss’s health will also heal you up a little. So if you’re ever out of restorative items, keep that in mind to try to regain some health whenever you’re in a tough situation.

That’s all you need to know about how to heal and restore health in CrossCode. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
