Concrete Genie is the latest exclusive to come to the PS4 (with a little bit of VR functionality to boot). Set in the small town of Denska, players follow the story of a young boy called Ash whose scrapbook of drawings is stolen by bullies and the pages scattered across the city. If you need a quick break from all the artsy goodness, here’s how to save in Concrete Genie.
Saving Your Game in Concrete Genie
Concrete Genie has both an auto-save and manual save options for players to ensure their progress is all recorded before taking a break.
The game’s auto-save feature kicks in whenever you alter the settings, solve a puzzle, pass a checkpoint, or basically make any kind of progress in the game’s story.
You’ll know that it’s triggered after a white Genie icon flashes and disappears in the top right corner of the screen.
To manually save, press Options on the PS4 controller and cycle over to the Options tab in the pause menu using R1. Select it, and then choose the Save option from the drop-down tab. Once you’ve pressed this, it’s simply a case of sitting back and waiting for it to finish its thing.
You’ll know when your progress is saved because you’ll then be free to back out of the menus and continue on with your adventure.
Time needed: 1 minute
