How to Start New Game Plus in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

In order to start new game plus in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, you will, of course, need to beat the game first. However, it’s important to note that getting the bad ending does not allow you to unlock this feature. You’ll need to get the good ending.

If you got the bad ending, the game will simply boot you to the main menu, where you get to load up your latest save.

If you got the good ending, you can simply load up your last save file and choose to start new game plus on any of the difficulties that you’ve unlocked.

What Carries Over in New Game Plus

Now here comes the interesting part. When starting new game plus in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, you’ll get to carry over some cool things from your first playthrough. Here’s a list of everything you get to bring with you:

  • Character level
  • Equipment
  • Money
  • Map progress
  • All items, ingredients, and crafting materials
