Bugsnax is full of various different types of food-inspired creatures. One you’ll be required to catch at one point is the Chillynilly, which is essentially a flying ice-cream sandwich. So that you can add it to your collection, here’s everything you need to know about how to catch chillynilly in Bugsnax.
First of all, you’ll find the Chillynilly in the frosted peak biome, flying around the lower areas. Be careful of the Banoppers there, as they’ll run into you and freeze you if you get too close.
They’ll also only appear between the hours of 4 pm to 4 am, so when it’s dark, so you’ll need to sleep to the right time if you’re not at it already. There’s somewhere to sleep at the top and bottom of the mountain if you need to find somewhere.
How to Catch Chillynilly in Bugsnax
Once you’ve found them, scan one to track its flight path and find a campfire that it flies over. From scanning it, you’ll notice that the Chillynilly loves Chocolate Sauce – as you’d expect from it essentially being an icecream sandwich.
What you need to do is fire some chocolate near the campfire that it passes over. When it goes over the top of it, the Chillynilly will fly down to eat it.
If you’ve fired the Chocolate Sauce close enough to the campfire, the Chillynilly in Bugsnax will melt and close up.
You can’t fire the Chocolate Sauce directly at the campfire, as it won’t stick and you’ll have to wait for the Chillynilly to fly around it’s path again to get back to the campfire.
Once it’s melted, you can just walk up to it and grab it in your net by pressing square.
