Metro Exodus is the latest story-driven shooter from the talented folk over at 4A Games. Rather than Artyom dwelling in the metro tunnels, this time he’s out exploring what was thought to be the uninhabitable surface of Earth. The game looks absolutely stunning, and so that’s likely got people wondering what Metro Exodus‘ install size is.

As you might have expected, Metro Exodus is quite the sizable game, thanks to those stunning visuals and semi open-world areas. Not to mention the fact that the install size of games only seems to continue to grow. We’ve included the install sizes for Metro Exodus on PC, PS4, and Xbox One below.

  • PC: 59 GB
  • PS4: 49.1 GB
  • Xbox One: 56.45 GB

While it’s always possible that the install size could change depending on whether or not you’ve downloaded 4K assets on a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X, or as a result of a future patch, this is the absolute minimum you’re going to need to install it on release date.

As such, we’d advise doing a bit of spring cleaning on your system’s hard drive now so it’s all ready to roll.

Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the preload option if you’ve preordered Metro Exodus digitally. You can check out our guide on what the preload and unlock times for the game are, should you need a hand. That way, the game will be all downloaded and ready to play the moment the clock strikes midnight on Feb. 15.
