Forza Horizon 4 is packed with events for players to join in on. From street races and stunt jumps to speed zones and drifting, there’s an incredible amount of choice. An even bigger part of Forza this year is a totally online world synced up with other players. The world is filled with other real drivers allowing you to team up easily with friends or total strangers.

Players can team up in an event that happens once an hour in Forza Horizon 4 called Forzathon, which is a series of events that anyone can participate in to earn ‘Forzathon Points’ that can be cashed in for some sweet rewards. Forzathon will notify every player in-game five minutes before it begins and will show you a zone of the map where you must drive to begin Forzathon. Once you’ve reached the destination, you’ll wait until the timer hits zero and the event begins. Then it’s time to jump into Forzathon.

Forzathon is comprised of three parts that are randomized each time. One time you’ll be trying to collectively earn points by driving off a ramp, and then another you’re trying to accumulate drift points around a long bend. Either way, everyone collectively is working together to complete each leg of the event before the timer runs out. After ten minutes or the completion of all three parts, players will be rewarded with 30 Forzathon Points.

30 Forzathon Points may not seem like a lot, but remember this happens at the beginning of every hour in Forza Horizon 4, so you’ll have plenty more opportunities to rack up points throughout the day. You can then scroll over to the Forzathon section of your menu and see what rewards you can buy once you’ve accrued enough points. Some items in the game are exclusive to Forzathon, so be sure to check back as the store is updated frequently.

Forzathon is just one of the many different events you will find yourself spending time with in Forza Horizon 4. Forza pushes you to explore its open world and discover new paths for your own. Whether you enjoy street, drag, dirt, or cross country racing, Forza Horizon 4 has you covered.
