How to Get Guilmon in Digimon Survive

Unlike Pokemon, Digimon Survive only has one version. Any Digimon you come across in the game will almost always be equally accessible to other players. However, do note that we said “almost.” Guilmon is a special case. So, if you would like to add them to your team, here’s how to get Guilmon in Digimon Survive.

How to Get Guilmon in Digimon Survive

Normally, you’d go out into the wild, roam around until you find the Digimon you want, then recruit them. With Guilmon, you have to redeem him using the in-game menu.

The good news is that anyone with a copy of Digimon Survive can redeem Guilmon—even if you did not pre-order—so long as you purchase the game within the first month. The somewhat unfortunate news is that you only have until August 29th, 2022 to redeem Guilmon in the game.

To get Guilmon in Digimon Survive:

  1. Complete the entirety of the tutorial.

    For starters, the tutorial is incredibly helpful. More importantly, the completion of the Equipment Tutorial is a prerequisite.

  2. After you’ve completed the tutorial, pause the game.

  3. In the bottom-right corner, press the “Receive Bonus” button.

    For example, the Y button on Xbox. Also, take note of the “Bonus is available” message in the top-right.how-to-get-guilmon-digimon-survive

After that, you’ll receive a level 1 Guilmon, along with a Beloved Crystal-D support item. The Beloved Crystal-D is a nice bonus; the Digimon holding it recovers HP every turn.
