It’s time to live out the ultimate teenage experience in The Sims 4 High School Years exclusive. This upcoming Expansion Pack features various events and items that uniquely broaden the game’s universe. So, here’s everything new coming in The Sims 4 High School Years pack.
Everything New in The Sims 4 High School Years Pack Explained
The High School Years pack showcases a variety of new attributes and items in The Sims 4. To ensure you have a clear-cut understanding of what you’re getting, we’ll break down everything you can expect for this Expansion Pack.
Interactive School Experience
Since the release of The Sims 4 Discover University pack, fans have been begging for a more interactive gameplay experience. Fortunately, the High School Years Pack has launched new educational adventures within the game, such as taking weekly exams and customizing your lockers.
Players can enroll their teenagers at Copperdale High and attend classes, resulting in an exciting graduation ceremony. Your Sims can also have lunch at the cafeteria and cause mischief by pulling pranks on other students. Although if you do engage in these misbehaving actions, you may end up in detention or cause issues with relationships.
After School Events
Once your Sim’s school day finishes, there are many new elements within the game, including clubs, events, and simple hangouts at home. Moreover, players can participate in extracurricular activities by signing up for football, cheerleading, chess, and computer clubs.
If you don’t want to join a club, you can still dive into the teenage experience by going out on dates at Plumbite Pier and having some fun at the amusement park. While your Sim is there, you can get spooked by the haunted house or take your crush on the tunnel of love, where you can take some pictures in the photo booth.
Those who are homebodies can invite classmates over for a study session and complete homework for the next day. In addition, Sims will now have more gameplay options on their bed, such as reading books, pillow fights, and using their laptop.
Prom
To further the whole high school experience, teenagers can dance the night away by going to prom. Additionally, players can customize everything for this event, such as the preparations and outfit designs. However, before you go, you can commence the “Promposal” to ask a Sim to the dance or attend completely solo.
Once there, you can initiate your planned dance moves and vote for prom royalty. But, of course, if you don’t want to immerse yourself in this type of experience, you can skip out on it and have a fantastic night nonetheless.
Unique Fashion Collection
Electronic Arts has partnered with the fashion marketplace, Depop, to generate a new trendy collection for The Sims 4. Real-life sellers Jeremy Salazar, Sha’an D’Antes, Lapoze McTribouy, Selena Williams, and Bella McFadden have designed clothing items at the in-game thrift store and the boba shop, ThirfTea.
Want to become a designer too? The High School Years Pack allows you to customize outfits and sell them using the Trendi app. Players can also take pictures with their fashionable clothes when visiting the mural display near ThrifTea. Additionally, gamers can enhance their Simfluencer lifestyle by purchasing the preorder for the Expansion Pack.
Body Hair
For the first time, The Sims 4 will be launching a body hair component. The community has consistently asked for this feature since fans believe it adds to a more human-like experience. As a result, Electronic Arts has finally debuted this “hairy” element, which will naturally grow on your Sims over time.
Teenagers will now go through puberty, where they can trim and groom their body hair. Furthermore, those who only have the base game will still obtain this component when the game updates.
