Heavy Snipers made their way into the regular matches in Fortnite with the 20.10 update and are available in the latest Zero Build playlist as well. You can find Heavy Snipers in Fortnite in chests, rare chests and supply drops.

These will be available in Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities and have seen some major nerfs in terms of damage.

Heavy Sniper Nerfs

Currently, the Heavy Sniper does a body damage of 120/128/132 (depending on the rarity), while headshots are no longer an instant kill thing.

Instead, headshots deal 180/192/198 damage based on the rarity. Furthermore, the developers have also nerfed the build damage to 600/630/660. Heavy Snipers in Fortnite deal 640 damage to vehicles.

Back in the Chapter 1 days, the Heavy Sniper was the most OP weapon and capable of inflicting almost nearly 400 damage via headshots.

However, Epic Games has significantly nerfed the weapon in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, so as to balance the overall game.
