New Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Sees Eleven Adjusting to Her New Social Life

Netflix‘s uber-popular coming-of-age sci-fi hit, Stranger Things, is readying itself for its fourth season and a mid-2022 release. So far, we’ve only had a short, creepy trailer and a cheeky sneak peek at the ’80-inspired show.

Now, we have a freshly cut teaser pulling back the curtain on Stranger Things’ most likeable couple, Eleven and Mike, who are trying their best to make things work in a long-distance relationship.

Go ahead and take a gander at the new Stranger Things footage down below:

As you can see above, Mike is off in faraway California for spring break and the pair have to make do with writing letters to one another. Meanwhile, Eleven is settling in to her new routine as a student in Hawkins High School, and is busy taking on the usual challenges that growing up brings.

Clearly, Eleven still misses Mike, and is laboriously counting down the days since she saw him last. D’aww!

Of course, one of the biggest questions is still: What the heck happened to Jim Hopper and how does he – and the Soviets who captured him – factor into things? Unfortunately, good ol’ Hop is no where to be seen in this latest Stranger Things teaser.

While Season 4 of Stranger Things has no concrete release date, it’s scheduled to be bringing its retro sci-fi horror exclusively to Netflix in Summer, 2022.
