One of the many things you can uncover in Biomutant are ‘Old World Vaults.’ These are underground bunker-style rooms that contain a bunch of different items including an incredibly powerful bit of gear. To get inside, though, you’ll need to get your hands on the Vault Key. In this Biomutant Suburbia Vault Key guide, we’ll explain where to use it, and what’s inside the Suburbia Vault.
Getting the Suburbia Vault Key
The Suburbia Vault Key is obtained for beating the first of the monster in Moog’s Munster Honter questline. This monster is ‘The Schacky TrunkGnut’ which can be located in the south of Suburbia. The quest will also set a waypoint to its location.
After defeating ‘The Schacky TrunkGnut’ investigate its body and you’ll be able to pick up the Suburbia Vault Key in Biomutant.
Where to Find the Suburbia Vault in Biomutant
With the key in hand, you now need to track down the vault. The Suburbia Vault can be found in the northwest of the location, marked on our map below.
When you reach here, you’ll find a large underground opening. Head inside, take the door at the end on your right, and follow the steps down.
Now use the Suburbia Vault Key on the yellow keypad next to the locked door. The door will now swing open and you’ll be able to get your rewards.
What’s Inside the Suburbia Vault?
Inside the vault, you’ll find a number of boxes containing various consumables. However, the main prize here is in the yellow locker right in front of you when you walk in.
This contains the Sparkatron Hypicskromp, a Rarity 100 ‘Ultimate’, Electric ranged rifle. It deals 125 electric damage, and 510-695 standard damage without being upgraded.
It also comes with the Momentum buff, which increases the rate of fire by 10% with each bullet fired.
That’s everything you need to know regarding the Biomutant Suburbia Vault Key, how to get inside the vault, and what you’ll get for your troubles.
