Several aspects of Biomutant’s combat system require you to maintain a certain resource to keep using many of your abilities. Here’s how to restore your Ki energy in the game if you’re unsure of what to do.
How to Restore Ki Energy in Biomutant
Ki Energy is used for dodging, firing off Mutations, and performing Special Attacks. It’s especially important for those who have opted to go for a Psi Freak build, or any build that leans on using Psi attacks given that Ki is essentially Biomutant’s equivalent of mana and you’ll need a hefty pool of it to pop off in battle.
Your Ki Energy regenerates, both in and out of combat, but you can also use consumable items such as Energy Packs to regenerate energy more quickly for a set duration. The amount of energy regen and duration depends on the item; all items you pick up typically explain how much Ki you’ll recharge by using them.
If you find yourself routinely running out of Ki in combat then you might like to consider pouring attribute points into leveling it up once you have some available. Remember, progression in Biomutant comes almost exclusively from engaging in combat, and so the more enemies you defeat, the more you’ll be able to level up your character and increase your overall Ki level if you choose to do so.
That does it for how to restore Ki energy in Biomutant. For more useful tips and tricks for the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki. Otherwise, you should see some related content below that may prove helpful.
