Chapter 2 Season 3 of Fortnite is finally upon us, with half the map being plunged underwater. On top of new weapons and skins to try out, new gameplay features have been added, with one of those being whirlpools. So that you can give them a try, here’s everything you need to know about how to use whirlpools in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3.
What Whirlpools do is propel you into the air from a small section of water. If you’re trying to get away from someone chasing you, or reach a different part of the map entirely, they’re great for getting high into the air. How to Use Whirlpools in Fortnite
Thankfully, they’re really easy to find and use in the game. Look for the pale circles in the water on your map and head to the location.
Once there, land in or swim up to one of them and you’ll be propelled into the air so that you can fly to somewhere else nearby. It’s that simple.
It’s worth noting that you need to use a whirlpool near The Fortilla to complete Aquaman’s first challenge. For the full breakdown of the challenges you need to complete for the character’s skin, check out our guide.
While Whirlpools are mostly just a fun gameplay addition that help you navigate the watery map quickly, they’ll likely be used for challenges throughout this season. If and when they are, we’ll have all the information you need here at Twinfinite.
