Fire Emblem Cindered Shadows: Who Sitri Is (Spoilers)

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have just released a brand new story DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and it includes a new hub area to explore, as well as four new playable characters. The DLC also fleshes out the story a little bit. Here’s what you need to know about Sitri in Fire Emblem Cindered Shadows.

Who Sitri is in Fire Emblem Cindered Shadows

In the base game of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, we don’t really learn that much about Byleth’s own history or background. We know that they were raised by Jeralt, a mercenary who used to work with Rhea at Garreg Mach Monastery. However, after an incident at the church, he left with Byleth and didn’t return for years.

Aside from that, not much else is known about Byleth’s mother, and we don’t even find out what her name was. All that changes in the Cindered Shadows DLC, as players get to meet a new character named Aelfric at the end of the second chapter.

Aelfric works for the church as well, and when he meets Byleth, he informs them that he knew their parents quite well. When pressed for answers, he reveals that Byleth’s mother was a woman named Sitri.

While we did already know that Sitri was a priestess in the church, Aelfric gives us a bit more information about her personality. She’s described as a rather frail and quiet person who could never quite find the strength to venture outside of Garreg Mach, and she always stayed within the safety of its walls. She was also a very reserved person who would only open up and talk to a select group of people.

Aelfric also reveals that he was surprised to hear that Jeralt and Sitri were getting married, especially when you consider how vastly different they were in terms of their personalities.

That’s all we know about Sitri in Fire Emblem Cindered Shadows for now, but we’ll be sure to update this article if more new information arises. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game. If you’re wondering how to start the actual DLC itself, we’ve got you covered as well.
